The suede has this soft, lived-in feel right out of the box, no break-in blisters at all. Wore them all day walking around town and the Western stitching got a few compliments. Genuine leather at this price is a pleasant surprise.

The side zip is the detail I didn't know I needed—no laces, no fuss, just pull them on and go. Wore them all day at work and the leather didn't rub once. The Western stitching gives them just enough character without being loud.
