The suede is buttery soft right out of the box, no break-in needed at all. I wore them for a full day of walking and my feet were fine. The brown is a bit darker than the photos, which I actually prefer.

The shape is what sold me — that slightly rounded toe and low profile looks far more expensive than it cost, and the earth brown suede pairs with almost everything in my closet. Broke them in over a weekend and the leather didn't bite once.

Wore these straight out of the box for a nine-hour workday and my feet never complained. The shape is nicely balanced, not too chunky or too narrow, and the earth brown goes with basically everything in my closet.
