The aged walnut leather has this broken-in look right out of the box, no awkward stiff phase to push through. Wore them through a rainy week and the mid-calf height kept my socks dry the whole time.

The tonal embroidery on the toe and shaft is subtle in photos but really shows up in person. Mid-calf height works with both jeans and dresses, which I didn't expect from a boot this sturdy.

The aged walnut leather has a nice worn-in look right out of the box, and the embroidery over the toe is subtle enough that it doesn't feel busy. Only gripe is the top edge took a few wears to stop rubbing my calf, but it's fine now.
