The burnished black calf leather has this worn-in look right out of the box, like they've already got a few good years on them. Flat sole and round toe keep it simple, which is exactly what I wanted for walking around town all day.

The side zip makes these so much easier to get on than I expected, and the flat sole keeps them comfortable through a full day of walking. The round toe and aged black finish look a little dressier in person than the photos suggested.
