Wasn't sure about the ankle height at first but the side zip makes them slide on in seconds. The minimal cut means the black leather goes with basically everything I own. Zero break-in period too.

The calf leather is buttery soft right out of the box, no break-in needed. I wore them all day at work and my feet never complained once. The ankle height hits just right with cropped jeans.

The side zip is such a clean touch, no visible hardware ruining the line, which is why I grabbed these over a taller pair. Wore them to a dinner and forgot I had them on, that's how soft the calf leather is.
