Tanino is the sneaker that put Buttero's archive on people's feet in 2013, and it still wears the same essential shape: raw-cut edges, two stitch points at the toe, brass eyelets.
The upper is vegetable-tanned calf leather in bark; the tanning leaves the grain uneven on purpose, so no two hides read quite the same, and the colour deepens with every season worn. Leather laces and brass eyelets complete the closure, with a spare pair of laces included. A genuine-rubber sole runs underfoot, comfortable from first wear. Made in Italy.
It runs wide — most people take two sizes down from their usual sportswear size.

Each pair comes with an extra set of leather laces, specially finished to achieve a supple yet substantial feel. They can be easily trimmed to the desired length, to refresh a product made to last.
