The suede is soft enough to wear barefoot right out of the box, no breaking in needed. I wore them to a gallery opening and the stitching along the side got a couple of compliments. They run a half size large, so size down if you're between.

The hand-threading along the side is such a nice detail, way more interesting than the plain suede mules I've owned before. Wore them all day running errands and the suede didn't rub anywhere.

The hand-threading along the suede profile is genuinely lovely — you can tell someone took their time with it. Only gripe is the suede scuffs a bit easier than I'd like, so I'm babying them more than expected. Still, they've become my go-to pair for dinners out.
