The suede is buttery right out of the box, no breaking in needed. I wore them to a gallery opening and got two compliments before I even sat down. The saber shape makes them feel a little dressy but I've been pairing them with jeans too.

The hand-threading along the side is what sold me — you can tell someone actually stitched it, not a machine. The black suede has that soft, slightly dusty feel that only gets better with wear. Wore them to a gallery opening and didn't want to take them off.
