Aedi's ankle-boot reading takes the derby's lace-up construction and finishes it in suede, with a stitched suede label at the tongue and metal eyelets closing the front.

The upper is suede in taupe grey, with metal eyelets and square leather laces. Leather lining and insole line the inside, with a spare pair of laces included. The sole has Ideal construction with a light midsole for comfort, finished with a genuine rubber tread cut in a rock pattern. sole 2.5–3.5 cm. Made in Italy.

The suede is that soft taupe that goes with basically everything, and the metal eyelets make lacing them up feel oddly satisfying. Wore them all day right out of the box with zero break-in issues. The little suede label on the tongue is a nice touch too.
