Santomato reinterprets the Western ankle boot, holding onto the instep stitching and toe embroidery that define the original.

The upper is hand-buffed leather in aged walnut, carrying a used effect that deepens over time. The inner zip, covered by a tonal leather insert, closes the boot while keeping an essential profile. The genuine leather sole is built with Blake construction, with a slightly slanted heel for lasting comfort. Leather lining and insole. heel 4 cm · shaft 17 cm · sole 0.8 cm. Made in Italy. To preserve the colour, avoid rubbing the leather vigorously and water- or alcohol-based products.

The instep stitching is what sold me, it gives that Western shape without looking costume-y. Wore them all day the first time and the leather didn't fight my feet at all. The aged finish has a nice worn-in look right out of the box.
